We Want Peace

Emmanuel Jal of We Want Peace – an organization globally synonymous for its creative efforts against global injustice – joins Forces with Kenya’s Juliani, Tanzania’s Vanessa Mdee and Congo’s Syssi Managa as they take a Pan-African stand for the continent’s dwindling elephants.

• WHAT (is it?)

  Through the unified merging of artists, activists, political figures and leading international influencers (including Juliani, Syssi Mananga, Vanessa Mdee, Rozan Ahmed, Hon. Ambassador Bob Godec, Bougi, Wildlife Direct and more) STAND FOR ELEPHANTS aims to highlight and stop the horrendous slaughter of Africa’s elephants, particularly affected in the eastern and central regions of the continent.

  EarthTones and WWP believe that education through music, messaging, social media, peace culture and artistic activism can make a profound difference in the protection of this at-risk species.

  With the worldwide release of WWP’s upcoming anthem, Tusimame, bringing together an attractive mesh of Africa’s most inspiring artists (from Tanzania, Congo-Brazzaville, Kenya and Sudan) we will make a momentous musical roar throughout all affected communities, inspiring further action from each and everyone of us to protect our African elephants.

  Through the real ease of Tusimame, and a hard-hitting pan-African, pan-artistic approach to advocacy, awareness and education, the STAND FOR ELEPHANTS campaign hopes to instill a sense of responsibility and respect to Africa’s eco-system of stunning nature – to trickle down a sense of urgent protection amongst young people across the continent – to demand a stop to the poaching of Africa’s elephants.
