Yoga for Hope
Dedicated to healing the mind, body and spirit
Yoga for Hope is a nationwide initiative born out of City of Hope’s awareness of the vital role complementary and integrative therapies play in healing the whole person. City of Hope seeks to understand the importance of the mind-body-spirit connection to the prevention, treatment and recovery of those battling cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.
A portion of the funds raised support the Sheri & Les Biller Patient and Family Resource Center’s Supportive Care Program and will also be earmarked for the early detection, prevention and cure of cancer, HIV/AIDS and diabetes.

Connecting the Global Youth to Build a Conscious Hip Hop Nation
From the creator of Stomp the Yard, Beat the World is a feature film that tells the story of young people coming from around the globe to compete in an international Hip Hop dance competition held in Detroit. The film’s soundtrack features international collaborations with some of the biggest names in conscious Hip Hop, including KRS-One, K’naan, Talib Kweli, Nneka, Ziggy Marley, Les Nubians, and more.

Be On Our Way
The Song from the film Hurricane Season starring Forest Whitaker helps victims of Katrina
Composer/producer Frank Fitzpatrick brought together a group of like-minded artists – including Grammy Award winner Van Hunt, New Orleans’ born rapper Supervision, Buku Wise and singers from the original Hidden Faces – to help him create “Be On Our Way” the featured song from Tim Story’s new film, “Hurricane Season”.

Just Like You
Creating Peace through Human Compassion
Just Like You is part of a United Nations sponsored peace initiative for broadcast in the Middle East. The song and video aim break down stereotypes by creating greater human compassion and understanding among young people and across cultural divides. The message of Just Like You is simple: A child is just a child, innocent and full of dreams, whether born in Beruit, Iraq, Paris or New York. Just Like You is scheduled to broadcast to over 200 million people on TV networks throughout the Arab speaking nations.

Project to Support Music & Arts Education for Youth
Scenes in Jazz demonstrates jazz’s influence across multiple art forms while raising funds for music and arts education for under-privileged youth. The launch of the first CD and ongoing series will be celebrated in conjunction with a series of multi-disciplinary events and will include live performances by featured recording artists, an art and photography exhibit and screenings of jazz on film. Reflections
AIDS Awareness Program For Teens
Reflections, a film for AIDS awareness and education for teens, premiered on BET and is part of an ongoing program in high schools across the United States organized by Scenarios USA. The film was directed by Gina Prince-Davis (Love and Basketball) with the theme song performed by Neo-Soul recording star Lina. The song, Life, was co-written and produced by Frank Fitzpatrick as part of a partnership between Hip Hop Connect and Earthtones to inspire and teach teens through music.

United Youth in Song
Giving Voice to the Future with Children’s Choirs
United Youth will feature children’s choirs and voices of youth from around the globe singing and speaking about causes that they care about. To launch the initiative, Earthtones founder Frank Fitzpatrick recently joined with Con Fullum to record Pihcintu Children’s Chorus of Maine – comprised of 38 girls ages 9 – 14 from 17 different countries. www.pihcintu.org
