Angela Beyer

After having received a Certificate of Technology in Sound Recording, an Associate of Applied Science in Audio Engineering, and an Associate of Arts in History from San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas, Angela transferred to the Sound Recording Technology program at then Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University – San Marcos). For her required internship, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked as Second Engineer and Production Assistant to record producer David Eaton. While in Los Angeles, she founded Maltravers Media, an independent multimedia company which focuses on web design, web mastering, audio engineering, and digital distribution services.

After several years working sessions from Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin, and Houston, to London and rural England, she returned to her roots at San Jacinto College as a professor of audio engineering. She recently completed her Master’s degree in Creative Media Practices, concentrating on hybrid education and utilizing technology to enhance traditional college classes.

Angela has provided web design and web mastering services for Frank Fitzpatrick for over a decade.
